1st Line Service Desk Analyst
Cardiff city centre
Salary - £20k - £23k DOE
Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30 (40hrs per week)
FTC (6 months initially)
Our client is looking for a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst to join their team on a FTC basis.
Essential:
• A degree or equivalent in an IT related subject is desirable, as are any professional industry qualifications
• Over 12 months of experience in a similar role.
The successful candidate shall have a working knowledge of some or all the following technologies:
• IT Service Desk Call Logging Software
• Windows Operating Systems
• Office 365 Applications
• Dell Desktop Hardware
• Smart Mobile Devices such as iPhones & Android devices
Responsibilities:
• Administer the service desk on a day-to-day basis and provide 1st line support to users and clients.
• Daily administration of the Service Desk, ensuring all service requests are logged and resolved promptly or escalated as required
• Providing 1st line support for hardware and software related problems/incidents
• Assisting with the procurement, installation, configuration, maintenance, licensing and auditing of company hardware and software as required
• Provide support to various IT Projects as required
