Accounts Administrator

Cowbridge

Permanent

Salary - £25,000 per annum

30 hours per week

 

A new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Accounts Administrator. This is a great opportunity to join our client’s team who are a leading Electrical Purchasing Consortium with 82 Independent Electrical Wholesaler members and 211 branches across the UK.

Our client’s company culture is friendly and relaxed.

Reporting to the C.E.O., the successful applicant must be able to work on their own initiative as well as being part of a small team. They must be highly motivated with experience of SAGE Line 100 (50) and SAGE Payroll. They will have exceptional Excel skills, good communication and organisational
skills along with very good attention to detail.

Must be qualified to Advanced Diploma in Accounting AAT
Level 3 or Professional Diploma in Accounting AAT Level 4 (or equivalent).

 

Key Responsibilities

Daily Bank Reconciliation

·        
Updating of Payment Diary

·        
Invoicing

·        
Maintaining a Rebate Tracker with invoicing
information (internal document)

·        
Maintaining Rebate Holding Control document with
invoice information

·        
Maintaining a Rebate Summary document

·        
Quarterly VAT

·        
Produce Monthly Management Accounts

·        
Debtor chasing

·        
Reconciling Prepayments and Accruals

·        
Reconciling costs and revenue for various events
held during the year

·        
Reconciling Cashbooks and Accounting Package

·        
Preparing members rebate statements to be sent
twice monthly

·        
Reconciling members rebate statements to Rebate
Summary

·        
Update Rebate Performance Document

·        
Dealing with member and supplier queries

·        
Any other duties requested by C.E.O.
