Our client is a UK based forensic toxicology laboratory with a team of experts who have considerable knowledge and experience of analysing biological samples who are looking for an Administrator to join their team on a 12-month FTC.

 

Job purpose:

•Received hair samples into the laboratory

•To ensure that all information relating to a case is complete and inputted into the system accurately, in a timely manner, to allow the sample to pass through the system and for the final report to be prepared and results obtained issued to a court of law

 

Duties and responsibilities

•To log-in samples into CRM.

•To check for any flaws in the chain of custody sample pack.

•To scan chain of custody sample pack into the system.

•Input data entry into CRM and Report Centre systems.

•Archive samples.

•To draft expert reports based on the final quotation, chain of custody sample pack, and draft certificates of analysis.

•To help with any tasks that may arise within the reporting team / laboratory.

•Ensure that our clients Standard Operating Procedures are always followed, and that corresponding paperwork is neatly completed to the standard required.

•To inform the senior administrator immediately on noticing any chain of custody flaws.

•Ensure that training and competency records are kept up to date in a timely manner.

•Respect the confidentiality of the information obtained while analysing samples within the lab, and refrain from disclosing such information without written consent, except where disclosure is required by law or by a court order.
