Our client is looking for an Affordable Housing Officer to join them.
Job purpose:
To provide support for the delivery of affordable housing, through:
Monitoring and reporting on the development process for affordable housing units delivered through the Welsh Government’s Social Housing Grant or other funding programmes or via s106 planning agreements.
Tracing the development and delivery of individual units of affordable housing from funding source to occupation.
Collating and analysing information for the appraisal of s106 proposals.
Supporting the financial management of grant programmes.
Compiling performance information and completing performance returns.
Collating and analysing information on housing to support the production of the Local Housing Market Assessment, Local Housing Strategy and other strategic documents.
To provide administrative support for the housing strategy and delivery service, including completion of IProc and Oracle orders.
To liaise with housing association partners to help identify affordable housing development priorities, support the preparation of development proposals and provide information on the delivery of affordable housing.
To monitor development and best practice in local and national housing policy and cascade information to colleagues. To be responsible for the update of relevant housing media and literature.
