Our client is a successful print manufacturer based in South Wales. They are a world leader within a highly profitable packaging industry and based in sites at Pontypool & Treforest. The company has shown continuous growth and is constantly investing in new equipment and people to maintain production levels.
The successful candidate will have experience in print, have excellent admin skills and have confidence working across the entire Adobe suite with a main focus on Illustrator and Photoshop. They will prepare customers’ artwork for press, outputting and making up proofs to customers’ satisfaction. They will have a fine eye for detail and work well in a team.
Person Specification
- Experience in technical packaging artwork and reprographics (cartons, wallets, platforms etc).
- Adobe Creative Suite skills specifically Illustrator.
- Knowledge of artwork, pre-press and reprographic procedures.
- Experience of the print industry and processes, i.e., Lithographic.
- Proven experience of artwork manipulation to a high standard.
- Prinect Workflow experience.
- CAD knowledge is preferable.
