Salary up to £40k per annum + equity
Our client is a FinTech start-up, developing new products that connect merchants and consumers in the physical world. Their first product is a mobile web application for the hospitality industry, enabling consumers to order and pay for food and drinks at any of their partner venues.
They believe the hospitality world will change post-lockdown. Forever. They anticipate a huge demand for their products and services, because they eliminate the need for queues, menus and cash, as well as reducing contact between customers and staff and reducing the movement of customers within venues.
Our client is now investing in several new roles to grow their business and help the, achieve their goal of becoming the number one mobile ordering platform within the hospitality industry.

About the role:
Our client couldn’t become the number one mobile ordering platform within hospitality without their merchant partners, and their sales team are driven by finding and acquiring new partners to join them and keeping their existing partners happy.
It’s not just about closing deals though. As part of the sales team you’ll need to hold their partners’ hands and provide them with the advice and support they need - as and when they need it.
You will understand and be well-connected in the hospitality industry - either because you have worked at a venue or have previous experience of selling into them. You will also have previous experience of presenting and selling to business managers, owners, or directors.
You will be responsible for managing leads originating from our client’s marketing channels as well as generating your own leads. You will be passionate about our client’s proposition and product with a sales approach that is both engaging and persuasive, enabling you to close deals and nurture long term mutually beneficial and rewarding relationships.
As a startup, our client isn’t big on process, but you will need to be organised and capable of managing your own territory, enquiries, leads and pipeline. You will also need to keep on top of your contact records and ensure your enquiries and leads are properly organised, prioritised, and updated within our sales platform.
