Full time (Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm + on call hours
Salary - £24,000 DOE

Essential skills
•A minimum of QCF Level 2
•Experience of running a designated area and the supervising care assistants.
•Experience of effective, high-quality care that responds to each customer’s needs
•Evidence respecting customers’ choices and always promote their dignity and privacy.


Role and Responsibilities
•Prior to each service commencing, carry out with customers (and/or their chosen representatives) an assessment of what the customer needs and what they would like to achieve from their care and support, together with a risk assessment.
•Create and agree a written individually tailored plan of care and support
•Keep all information about customers and their families secure and confidential.
•Give care workers appropriate information and guidance
•Work with the Care coordinator to appropriately match care assistants to customers.
•Change care schedules without delay to the coordinator, customer and care workers.
•Support, supervise and assist with training of care workers.
•Take part in the out of hours emergency on-call rota as and when required.
•Arrange and manage staff changeovers and briefings
•Monitor the performance of care assistants and carry out quality reviews
•Always apply policies and procedures and make sure that accidents and incidents are recorded, reported, and acted upon.
