Our client is looking for a temporary Caretaker to start ASAP.
⭐The right candidate will need experience in a similar role.
To deal with enquiries from teaching staff, students, parents, contractors and members of the public as well as the emergency services and when required.
To ensure that lettings are managed efficient and securely to the satisfaction of those using the premises.
When on duty, effect emergency repairs when appropriate and/or refer such repairs to the estates manager when specialist contractors are required.
To undertake regular maintenance work and inspection of equipment around the estate.
To assist in preparation and running of key college events such as open evenings, parents' evenings and interview days.
To undertake general duties such as preparation for examsandexternalevents,workingalongsideothermembersoftheestatesteam.
Toundertakeanyspecialisttrainingrequired.
To assist extern al visitors,especially contractors with access issues, ensuring that college Safeguarding Policy is complied with.
To provide safe access to the college where required in the event of snow, ice, minor flooding or similar emergencies and carry out necessary procedures in the event of fire, flood, breaking and entering, accident or major damage.
Working with the management team, contribute to the management of incidents and emergencies
