Our client is Newport is looking for a Chef to join their team. The role will be temporary and will go permanent for the right person. The hours will be 7am - 3pm or 11am - 7pm weekdays and 7am - 7pm weekends.
The main duties of the post include, but are not limited to:
1. Cooking, baking and preparation of food
2. Menu planning and revising (for café and ward)
3. Managing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
4. Helping to derive and maintain, and operate according to, hygiene and critical control points (HACCP) documentation and processes
5. Specifying and ordering products/produce for cooking
6. Accepting deliveries
7. Liaising with kitchen suppliers
