Our client, a highly ranked Top 100 and award-winning Law firm based in the centre of Cardiff, is currently looking to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their Commercial Property team.

Their team of residential property specialists work with individuals, banks, lenders, developers, landlords, housing associations and house builders. They offer expert advice for residential property deals including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers and property finance.

Duties will include:

•Issue initial paperwork to Clients, Solicitors and Estate Agents and confirming receipt of instructions, requesting management packs and completing relevant checklists

•Use the land registry portal and complete land registry forms promptly

•Deal with internal and external enquiries providing advice to clients in relation to the transaction in hand

•Work in line with completion dates and preparing completion statements and bills

•Provide updates to all parties involved and chase clients in relation to their file

•Deal with purchases and sales including carrying out searches, completions etc

•Deal with post completion formalities to include sending of transfers, chasing outstanding documentation, settling invoices, bankruptcy searches and pre completion searches etc

•Preparing and serving of notices

•Ensure SDLT and registration formalities are carried out and uploaded electronically within the required timescales

•Order indemnity policies

Ideally suitable for someone with a background in conveyancing who is looking for their next step in this area of law.

The successful candidate will have excellent client care skills and be comfortable in working within a fast-paced environment. In addition, the ideal candidate will need a high level of administrative and IT skills.

An eye for detail and strong organisational skills are also needed along with the ability to organise and prioritise work in order to meet demanding deadlines.
