Our Client is looking to hire a Data Analyst to join their team. The Data Analyst will work closely with relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Operators, Planning and quality.
The successful candidate will be expected to seek out historical data via paperwork and systems; on production times and processes to collate data to help understand the timings of the process and product output quantity. Create and present details of the findings in a graphical and written format. The candidate should also be able to analyse the data to help present a suggested process cycle time and output rate. In addition to this, be able to write a procedure to gather data and generate metrics going forward.
Duties and Responsibilities
·Act as the focal point of production data analysis
·Provide weekly/monthly reports and updates to the operations director
·Work closely with production, planning, and other SMEs to ensure the correct data is collated at the right times.
·Determine a 90% confident factor prediction for Production cycle times and product output.
·Generate a procedure to capture the data and generate metrics going forward.
Essential Skills
·Minimum educated to an A Level standard, but a mathematical or statistical degree is desirable.
·Experience in data analysis and presenting results to management
·Self-motivated, confident, and flexible working attitude; work effectively within a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines to satisfy operations requirements.
·Must be organised and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with goof attention to detail.
·Experience in data gathering and presenting data and generating statistical analysis reports and conclusions
·Must have software, technical and statistical skills, fluency in all Microsoft office applications.
