Generator Mechanic Bridgend Full Time (40hrs 07:30 – 16:30) Permanent Salary – DOE PEM240
Our client in Bridgend is looking for a Generator Mechanic to join their team on a permanent basis.
Essential •Minimum 3 years of work experience in a role as service technician in the generator rental business •Strong electrical bias with mechanical (diesel and/or pump) experience or vice versa •Full clean drivers license, preferably BE •Excellent IT skills
Duties and responsibilities •Participate in on-call rota system and willingness to make occasional overnight trips •Deliver, set-up and de-install our range of generators, pumps, filtration equipment and tanks for our customers. •Carry out mechanical servicing and fault finding. •Hand-over of equipment to the customer and instruct customer on correct usage. •Assist in operational project preparation involving mechanical, electrical and diesel systems. •Monitor parts inventory and maintain minimum stock levels •Assist in training-on-the-job of operations employees on basic knowledge of mechanical, electri-cal and diesel systems
