We currently have a great opportunity for a Legal Assistant/Secretary to join a reputable firm in Cardiff.
This role will be providing secretarial support to the Fee Earners and Solicitors, predominantly digital dictation. As well as this, the role will be to provide legal assistance to the Head of Property, Property Solicitors, and clients. Duties to include:
Support the wider team in the day-to-day management and delivery of client services
Preparing quotes, liaising with potential clients and assisting with queries, through to successful instruction.
Dealing with the Land Registry and other stakeholders, including making applications to Land Registry.
Audio typing – experience of audio typing would be preferable
Attending to clients, taking instructions, and conducting letter and telephone enquiries as necessary.
Updating the case management system/lenders systems to ensure compliance.
Requesting appropriate searches
Preparing files for closing and archiving
We are looking for a candidate who has good organisational skills and is able to speak with clients, Introducers, Suppliers etc ,
This position is 50% digital dictation and 50% Legal Assistant
