Machine Operator Crumlin £10.92 per hour + £45.00 Shift Allowance (4 on/4 off) 12 hour shifts Temp for 12 weeks– with a view to going Perm TEM1111
Our client is looking to recruit a Machine Operator to join their team working 4on/4off 12hr shifts in Crumlin.
The role will involve: •Inspecting and packaging of various plastic goods for several markets i.e. safety, housewares, construction and medical. •A high level of concentration required to ensure consistency and fault monitoring. •This operation is governed by machine speeds using knives and blades to trim components. •If required, operating injection moulding machines in a semi-automatic basis. •The operators will be required to hand load components into tools that exceed 300 degrees C. •PPE will be provided but concentration and consistency will be required. •General manual handling with stacking pallets, wrapping and moving goods on pallet trolleys. •Cleaning components – sometimes the use of certain solvents are required to clean mouldings or items involved in the production process. •Lone working may be required in some circumstances but very rarely in the current climate. •Responsible for housekeeping in own area. •Responsible for recording production figures at the end of each shift. •Responsible to fulfil health and safety. •Responsible for running more than one machine.
Essential: •Previous experience working in a factory or a similar role •Production / Machine Operator experience •Own transport due to location
