Maintenance Electrical Technician
Permanent, Monday to Friday 8:00 – 16:00
Salary – dependant on skills and experience
Tredegar, South Wales

Our Client based within the Medical sector is looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Electrical Technician to join their team.

Essential Skills
• Proven track record of effective fault finding.
• Experience of PLC control, fault finding and repair.
• Familiar and comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
• Prepared to work overtime, which may include weekends, as and when the business requires.
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical support and knowledge.
• Equipment testing, fault finding and repair.
• Experience in Pneumatics fault finding.
• High diligence and accuracy
• Ability to self-motivate and work on own initiative.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects & manage time effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Desirable skills
• Injection moulding, extrusion, and high frequency welding machinery.
• Designing, building, and/ or improving bespoke equipment.
• PPM, Lean manufacturing, and continual improvement practices.

Role and Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager
• responsible for covering both proactive and reactive maintenance routines on both facilities production equipment in a timely manner
• Adhering to all Health and Safety requirements.
