Cardiff
Salary - £42,000 - £48,000 per annum
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm plus on call duties (overtime available) + working 1 in 5 weekends (the weekends will be working from home)
If you work a weekend, you will get time off in lieu that week.

Essentials
• Registered general nurse on Sub part 1 of the NMC register
• 5 years post registration nursing experience in an acute field such as ICU/A&E or ITU
• Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously with authority, while working as part of a greater team
• must be dynamic and adaptable in response to the needs of the business.
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of normal anatomy & physiology and the impact of disease, illness & injury
• Undertake a 6-month period of training & probation in one of the UK offices.
• Experience with international private medical case management and preauthorisation procedures. (Preferred)
• Have studied or working towards CCAT course or equivalent aeromedical retrieval course (Preferred)

Responsibilities
• Telephone and email-based travel advice to individuals and small corporate groups.
• Management of inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Augmentation and facilitation of the transfer of insured clients & members.
• Maintenance and development of our client’s medical equipment library, ensuring high standards of governance.
• Liaising with and maintaining the database of our client’s team of escorts.
• Working collaboratively with other subsidiaries of our client in providing a global and integrated service.
• Provide pre-authorisation services for a range of international private medical insurance clients.
