Our client is recruiting for a Project Coordinator / Assistant to work with and support their Project Management team on a large international project. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a project co-ordination / assistant role, with excellent attention to detail and who is happy to take on a wide variety of project related co-ordination and administrative tasks.

 

Essential Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience in project management / co-ordination. Preferably within an international consulting, engineering or construction environment

  • Hands-on experience with project management tools

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to support multiple aspects of the project at any given time

Description of Responsibilities:

 

The role will mainly comprise of supporting the Project Manager with multiple aspects of the project, including:

 

  • Liaising with and assisting our Travel team with international travel logistics, including visa applications and medical assessments

  • Interfacing with the project controls team (planning and cost engineer)

  • Administration of project contract documents in conjunction with the Contracts Manager

  • Assisting with financial monitoring, budgeting and invoicing and assisting with financial queries as required

  • Preparation, co-ordination, shipping and tracking of goods and materials required for the project

  • Co-ordination of resource planning, project scheduling and risk management inputs to ensure appropriate information is provided to the Project Manager

  • Preparation and co-ordination of project progress reports in line with contract requirements

  • Assisting in development of project processes, procedures and best practice as the project progresses

  • Maintaining project documentation and project folders

  • Liaising with multiple external suppliers and internal stakeholders
