Sales Account Manager
Salary - £30k - £35k per annum (DOE) + commission
Full time (40 hours per week)

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join their expanding, busy organisation on a permanent basis.

•Demonstrable experience, ability and qualities in managing client relationships, handling sales, product and general enquiries in a business-to-business environment.
•Ideally have a full Driving License
•Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels of an organisation.
•Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
•Calm and courteous manner, even under pressure.
•Data collection and analysis skills.
•Competency with Systems: Excel, Outlook and other web- based platforms (smartsheet etc)
•The ability to understand customers technical questions and provide a solution
•Good time management and organisational skills

•To drive revenue generation and deliver sales targets agreed, through the management and development of existing and new customer accounts. Provision of technical sales support and advice to customers. Effective management of Trade accounts including quotation creation and follow up, and preparation and delivery of account reviews.
•Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with customers and colleagues, working closely with the Customer Service team as required.
•Follow up leads from Marketing Team or other sources and convert to ongoing relationship.
•Ensure customers are returning the agreed GP% on sales and activity and look for ways to improve revenue and GP.
•Maintain proactive customer contact to drive customer tenure and maximise sales potential of each account.
•Deliver budgeted sales and GP% for customer segment
•Provide sales support and technical/product guidance to facilitate sales
•Monitoring clients spend against forecast
•Preparing and presenting account updates to clients
•Raising clients’ business concerns and needs to the management team
•Keep CRM system updated and accurate
•Develop and analyse data to determine how to better serve new and existing customers
•Perform research on accounts to drive sales opportunities.
