Sales Support Advisor
Permanent - 38.75 per week Monday to Friday
Caerphilly
£20 - £23k per annum, DOE

Our client are established market-leaders in the fire trade industry. They are now recruiting for a Sales Support Advisor to provide essential telephone support to customers, maintaining and developing excellent working relationships. You will handle and process incoming sales orders and enquiries, providing technical sales support and advice as required. Additionally, you will manage incoming telephone calls as needed, whilst maintaining proactive outbound customer contact to drive sales.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

•Excellent and positive telephone manner and the ability to communicate well both internally and externally
•Calm and courteous manner, even under pressure
•Accuracy of data entry
•Competency with Systems, Excel, Outlook and other web- based platforms (smartsheet etc)
•The ability to understand customers technical questions and provide a solution
•Demonstrable experience, ability and qualities in handling sales, product and general enquiries in a business-to-business environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Provide reliable and positive telephone support to customers
•Receive incoming sales orders and enquiries by telephone, email or fax, or from verbal instructions, enter details onto ERP system
•Provide sales support and technical/product guidance to facilitate sales
•Handle customer queries and complaints and following through to satisfactory resolution
•Provide Web Chat support to customers
•Track and monitor order progress
•Keep CRM system updated and accurate
•Upsell where possible on every enquiry received over the phone
•Provide acknowledgements for every sales order
•Liaise with our client’s Customer Services where there are queries regarding stock availability
•Liaise with Accounts where customers are on stop or other financial restrictions are in place
•Any other administrative and supportive activities to support the team
