Our client are a leading general insurer and financial services company, who have been serving the rural community for 100 years.
The Role
Our client’s leading agency in Bridgend is currently recruiting for a Sales Executive covering M4 Corridor from Cardiff to Swansea.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating Corporate Commercial new business in the region supported by new business development executives.
Job Specification:
The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a wide variety of tasks including the following:
Plan, prospect, select and sell Commercial and general insurance products.
Develop and manage your own pipeline of business that is sufficient to achieve targets.
Ability to prospect, self-generate, plan and manage your own Mid Corporate Commercial opportunities, supported by a Lead Coordinator.
Identify, cross sell leads for Financial Services and Risk Management Services.
Developing and running marketing campaigns to increase commercial leads.
Carrying out external sales calls in compliant and professional manner.
Maintain own technical knowledge and skills.
Develop productive business relationships with key stakeholders.
Person Specification:
Confident and dynamic personality.
Strong relationship building and prospecting skills.
Competent in using Microsoft office and sales support systems such as MS Dynamics.
Extensive commercial insurance sales experience.
Current car license.
Experienced networker.
Qualifications/Other:
Minimum of 5 GCSE's A-C (or equivalent)
Must be CII Qualified or prepared to work towards CII Qualification.
