An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our clients housing team. The successful candidate will report to the Strategic & Sustainable Living Team Manager and will assist in the delivery of housing services to support resident’s needs and additionally support people to remain living in their own homes safely and independently.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the day to day business of the Strategic and Sustainable Living Team, including associated function such as mail management, scanning, photocopying, answering the telephone, arranging meetings, taking minutes etc
Operation of financial systems to raise invoices and liase with Sundry Debtors regarding Strategic & Sustainable Living team functions
Responsible for the monitoring and tracking of applications for Disabled Adaptationsand Careline
Assisting with marketing/use of social media and raising the profile of operational and strategic services where appropriate
Work closely with contractors to assist with focus on earliest completion establishing targets and individual timescales as appropriate
Tracking all grants to support completion within target timescales
Assist with identifying actual or potential delays and help to resolve those delays
Work closely with Care & Repair Torfaen/Monmouthshire Partners where appropriate and beneficial
Assist Surveyor/s and prepare paperwork for applications, surveys and approvals
Raise purchase orders and process invoices on Council Financial System
