Panel Technician
Bridgend
Salary - £16p.h + (efficiency based bonus)
Permanent, 40 - 45 hour week

Our busy Client is looking for a Panel Technician to join their team!

Essential Skills
•Level 3 IMI / City and Guilds Body repair qualification
•3 years experience within a Bodyshop

Role and Responsibilities
•Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair
•Use jigs, fixtures and welding equipment, according to instruction and level of qualification, and always to the prescribed safety standards
•Ensure body alignment equipment is used accurately on all body repairs
•Adhere to the manufacturer’s literature and modification bulletins as appropriate
•Complete assigned jobs within the estimated panel times,
•Report any additional damage found
•Record accurately all components, materials, consumables and hours used on each vehicle repair
