Business Development Executive

Working from home initially, offices based in Central Cardiff
Our client is a FinTech start-up, developing new products that connect merchants and consumers in the physical world. Their first product is a mobile web application for the hospitality industry, enabling consumers to order and pay for food and drinks at any of their partner venues.
They believe the hospitality world will change post-lockdown. Forever. They anticipate a huge demand for their products and services, because they eliminate the need for queues, menus and cash, as well as reducing contact between customers and staff and reducing the movement of customers within venues.
Due to a huge increase in demand, our client is now looking to take on a temporary Business Development Executive, to form valuable partnerships with distribution partners within the hospitality industry.
About the role:
Our client couldn’t become the number one mobile ordering platform within hospitality without developing and nurturing enduring partnerships with their distribution partners.
You will be tasked with sourcing and contacting possible distribution partners, explaining what our client has to offer, and building the foundation for a strong and lasting relationship.
Ideally you will understand technology and SAAS sales, and have a track record of selling technology products to non-technical customers, ideally in an environment related to hospitality and leisure.
Some telesales or B2B experience is essential for this role.
You’ll be passionate about our client’s proposition and product with a sales approach that is both engaging and persuasive, enabling you to close deals and nurture long term mutually beneficial and rewarding partner relationships.
