We are recruiting an experienced Probate Solicitor for an established and long-standing law firm based in Cardiff city centre. With effectiveness and affordability at the heart of their core values, they are looking to further grow their team.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years probate experience, and be able to demonstrate the following:
Experience running a case load of Estate Administration, Will and Power of Attorney matters
Experience in completing Inheritance Tax forms
Knowledge of Tax, Trust, Inheritance & Capital Gains Tax and Offshore Assets
Experience in supervising staff
Competent IT user particularly of Microsoft Office software and case management system
Excellent Client care skills
Calm, confident and compassionate manner to handle potentially challenging matters
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
PQE 5+
STEP or Solicitor for the Elderly accreditation advantageous
